Pre-Season: Thai Port 4 - 1 Myanmar
Thai Port proved to be too strong for the Myanmar National team during today's fixture at PAT Stadium. Sarayoot Chaikamdee opened the scoring for Port in the 28th minute, with the only goal of the first half.
Former Raj Navy Rayong midfielder, Yai Nilwong, increased the lead in the 51st minute. Myanmar hit back 6 minutes later thanks to Soe Min Do, but their joy was extremely short lived, as Yai Nilwong went straight up the other end and scored a third goal for Thai Port just 60 seconds after the re-start.
There was still time for substitute, Todsapol Lated to score a fourth goal in the 81st minute. According to fans I have spoken to, the young defender was in fine form today. He was commanding in the air, good on the deck, strong in the tackle, as well as showing bravey and positional awareness. They are already calling him 'Vidic of Thai Port'. High praise indeed!
Next up for Thai Port is the Queen's Cup, which will see us play 3 fixtures in Saraburi Province, against Samut Songkhram (6th Feb), Thai Army (8th Feb), and Osotspa (10th Feb).
Thai Port: 35. Narong Wisetsri, 29. Pana Karnachansomsak, 32. Nontapan Jiensatawong, 14. Songsak Chaisamak, 22. Mario Da Silva , 5. Yai Nilwong, 27. Kiatjareon Ruangparn, 8. Jakkrit Bunkham, 13. Issarapong Lilakorn, 10. Sarayoot Chaikamdee (C), 18. Edvaldo
