The Cameroonian goalkeeper left the club by mutual consent earlier this month, and was rumoured to be a transfer target for Bangkok United. The Bangkok Angels, however, have snapped up French keeper Antonin Trilles from S-League side Etoile FC, ending any possibility of Munze being reunited with ex-Port boss Sasom Pobprasert.
* The footnote to the TLO article suggests that former Port player Pongpipat Kamnuan is likely to return to PAT Stadium, although Police United are also tracking the player.

Thai Port Blog: Bringing you tomorrow's rumours, today!
ReplyDelete"TPF Feb 16, 2012 03:13 PM - Another rumour...'Big Ben' has said on facebook that he will offer Munze a new contract today." - It's unclear as to whether Munze will re-sign for us. There are (as ever) conflicting reports. Time will tell, I guess.
Today's rumour is that Pattaya United are interested in signing Alex Ruella. He was very keen to join Port last week, but nothing has happened since then. Wouldn't surprise me if he's had a better offer (e.g. any team that'll pay him on a regular basis).
Ignore my previous post about Alex Ruella, I have just read the comment above.
ReplyDeleteAm I allowed to do u-turns as well? The new coach seems to think that Alex has signed for us. I'm currently seeking confirmation!

The Alex deal is definitely not finalised. We should find out on Monday.
ReplyDeleteI hope this one goes thru for purely selfish reasons!! My 'real life' name is Alex, so if we sign this guy up, then I can get a name on the back of my shirt and it doesn't even matter if he leaves!!
ReplyDeleteSorry to keep you on tenterhooks, Shilts! I didn't hear anything today (Monday). No news is good news, right?
